About Ilana

Ilana Pearlman was born in Burlingame, California and grew up on the coast in Half Moon Bay, California. She enjoys writing, traveling, music, gardening, and being with children.

Ilana is currently a stay-at-home mommy to her son, Ezra, who was born June 12th, 2009 in addition to working on an on-call basis. She also volunteers with the labor and delivery department at St. Lukes Hospital and is applying for her masters in nurse midwifery at UCSF.  Her passion is to serve families.
